The information online is conflicting. A lot of sources say get a new battery at around 80%, but Apple’s guidance says from iPhone 11 onwards, there are new processes (and hardware I think) that actually stop performance throttling so it’s no longer an issue. This has been the thing I needed confirming to actually get a new battery! Thank you!

So I’m not too familiar with iPhone battery health drops seeing as this iPhone 11 Pro Max is my first iPhone ever. But currently it’s at 95% health, with optimized battery charging on. 95% is actually pretty good for a year (I think)! I love the smart battery case. If I use it, I can get 2-3 days with medium usage.
iPhone 11 battery replacement tag on flex issues. I’m using a core battery that comes with a tag on flex. Watched the video and it showed no programmer is required to reset the battery stats. Did the welding of the original bms to the new one with no issues. Attached the tag on flex, connected to the phone and plugged in the lightning cable
It would boot but not register any touches, and wouldn’t even boot with the replacement screens. Through all of that, the replacement batteries did help the original battery life and shutdown issues, but it was a huge hassle and ultimately broke the phone. It would’ve been easier just to get a new phone from the get go. This is the method used by programmers like QianLi or JCID. The second method currently has no known way of copying the authentication data to a new part. Instead, the chip itself is retained and replaced onto the new part. Specific to the battery, the battery controller board is clipped off the cell and welded onto a new battery cell. It would randomly reboot. I wouldn't be doing anything with it or even have it in my hands. The battery would be at 95% every time and reboot. Then when it was back on, the battery would be at 83%. It would happen again at 78% and come back on at 73%. But then it would be good until 2% and shut down completely. U7ZW.
