autogear stick comes out of park wont start. Bought a 1989 MB 420 SEL low mileage car, the seller delivered car to me and I restarted car and parked in a different area, next day car will not start. I checked battery as car had not been used of late and it was full power. the only thing I have found is that the gear stick comes out of park with

This black four pin connector is in the back near the firewall behind the left cylinder head on earlier W126 cars but up front between the idle control valve and cold start valve on later ones.
