Sure Apple could make your series 1-4 always on, but it would die on a few hours. Thank you for listening to my ted talk. So it turns out it may actually be the same LTPO display in Series 4. But, Series 5 has at least one extra chip responsible for driving the always-on behavior.

Time of day is not shown on Workout display On my Apple Watch Series 7, on the Workout display the time of day is not shown in the upper right corner of the face. On my wife's Watch (also Series 7) the time is shown. I can't find a setting to control this. Does anyone know where I can turn the time of day back on here?
